Medical Gas Codes & Inspection is being presented by Frank Rudilosso who founded Medigas® Life Safety Group in 1989 when he started Medigas® as a medical gas service & testing organization. Prior to starting Medigas®, Frank’s career included various mechanical and technical management positions within the service & manufacturing industries.
Today, the company is recognized in the Tri-State Area as the leader of medical gas systems, providing turn-key installations, quality service, testing, medical gas equipment sales and preventative maintenance systems.
Frank is a NITC/ASSE Medical Gas Installer, Inspector, Instructor and MGPHO credentialed Verifier. He also holds memberships in the National Fire Protection Association, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the American Society of Sanitary Engineers, the American Society of Healthcare Engineers of the American Hospital Association, as well as the LI Healthcare Life Safety Association.

Firestopping Fundamentals is being presented by Peter Schmidt who is committed to raising the standards of life safety and building preservation through public awareness and improved regulatory practices in the firestop industry. He is actively involved with the training of building professionals, including Inspectors, Fire Marshals, and the Department of Health. Recently, he has had the opportunity to write the firestopping specification for the code compliance division of the Dormitory Authority for the State of New York. He also has trained over 50 engineers for PANYNJ in preparation of proper firestop inspections on the Freedom Tower. Peter Schmidt is employed by Firestop Solutions, the country’s first Factory Mutual FM 4991 Contractor, first Hilti Accredited, one of the first UL Approved Firestop Contractors.
